Part 1: Two ways to lock the taskbar on Windows 8/8.1
Way 1: Lock it in the context menu of Taskbar.
Right-click Taskbar and choose Lock the taskbar directly, as shown in the following screen shot.
Way 2: Lock it in Taskbar Properties.
Step 1: Open Taskbar Properties.

Method 1: Open it through Search.

Method 1: Unlock taskbar in the right-click menu of Taskbar.
